Why it’s important to know the truth

There’s more. “Tanked” is also a story of my life. From the back woods of the south during a time when the country was still struggling with civil rights, to my relationship with the most influential and respected person in my life, my grandmother. This is a human interest story. A story of struggle, reaching the top, losing it all.

While on my way to the store I was pulled over, arrested and incarcerated for nearly 8 years on charges that as time would show where the makings of overzealous prosecutors, judges and people who wanted to send a message.
